Büyük çekişmeye sahne olan The Game Awards 2015’de 22 kategoride birbirinden iyi oyunlar yarıştı. En çok merak edilen kategorilerden Yılın Oyunu ödülüne The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt layık görüldü. Witcher 3, aynı zamanda En İyi RPG/Rol Yapma Oyunu ödülünü kazanarak törene damgasını vurdu. Törende video oyunların dışında e-Spor dalında da ödüller verildi. En iyi e-Spor oyunu CS:GO seçilirken, en iyi takım ve oyuncu da ödüllendirildi.
