New York Times’ın 21. Yüzyılın En İyi Filmleri Listesi

New York Times’ın hazırladığı bu dev listenin en dikkat çeken eksikleri arasında şu filmler yer alıyor:
“The 25th Hour”, “4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days”, “The New World”, “A.I.”, “Talk to Her”, “Dogville”, “Margaret”, “Uncle Boonmee”, “Holy Motors”, “Son of Saul”, “La La Land”, “Dunkirk”, “Burning” ve “Cache”.

Peki ben Bong Joon-ho’nun “Parasite” filmini son 25 yılın en iyisi olarak görüyor muyum?
Açıkçası tam olarak öyle düşünmüyorum. “Parasite”, keskin, şık ve zamanına uygun bir film — ancak son 20-25 yılda öyle çok başyapıt çıktı ki, hepsini unutturacak kadar baskın değil.

Listenin bazı sıralamalarında da, filmlerin güncel politik ya da sosyal konularla olan bağlarının fazla etkili olduğu açık. Hangileri olduğunu tahmin etmek zor değil 😉
Yine de genel olarak iyi bir liste: Hem sanat sineması hem de ana akım yapımlar arasında sağlam örnekler var.
