DC Comics is entering the anime game with Suicide Squad Isekai. Teaming up with Wit Studio, the production company responsible for Ranking of Kings, Spy x Family, and the first three seasons of Attack on Titan, DC’s most formidable group of misfits is tackling a new mission that will have them exploring another world. Along with a new trailer, new details have been released revealing the full lineup of this iteration of the Squad and the voice actors who will bring them to life.
In this version of the Suicide Squad, the roster once again includes Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, Clayface, and Peacemaker under the leadership of Amanda Waller. Harley Quinn will be voiced by Anna Nagase (Summer Time Rendering), Deadshot by Reigo Yamaguchi (Eminence in Shadow), Peacemaker by Takehito Koyasu (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), Clayface by Jun Fukuyama (Blue Exorcist), and King Shark by Subaru Kimura (Jujutsu Kaisen). Although not appearing to be a direct part of the team, Joker will play a role in this anime and will be voiced by Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin Slayer).

The trailer not only gives anime fans a closer look at the Suicide Squad’s first Isekai adventure, but it also confirms that the series is coming next year. From the trailer, it’s evident that the Squad has a limited time in this new fantasy world, due to the bombs implanted in their skulls that are ready to explode.
