Minecraft Speedrun Dünya Rekoru 07.01 Speedrun

Minecraft Speedrun World Record Got Beaten! 07.01

Speedrun is the act of completing a game as quickly as possible, categorized as glitched or glitchless, utilizing or not utilizing cheats, and exploiting bugs or not. Minecraft Speedrun, in conjunction with the influence of the pandemic and the popularity of Dream, has become one of the most followed and practiced speedrun categories globally. Just yesterday, a revolution occurred in Minecraft Speedrun as the record, refreshed only 3 weeks ago, was broken by the speedrunner known as Drip, with a difference of 21 seconds. The played category is the most popular one, 1.16+ RSG (Random Seed Glitchless).

The Minecraft Speedrun Category That WR Got Beaten:

Let’s begin with the explanation of RSG: “random seed glitchless” means you have to play in a world that has never been played before, and intentionally or unintentionally, you cannot use any glitches throughout the run. If you do use them, even if you break the world record, your run is considered invalid.

World Record:

In this category, the world record belonged to nofearr1337 with a time of 7 minutes and 24 seconds. However, today, the speedrunner and streamer “Drip,” who had previously held world records in earlier versions of the category, managed to break the record by approximately 23 seconds, setting a new time of 7 minutes and 1 second. Considering that, in the past, Minecraft speedrun records were over 10 minutes, a 23-second difference is a significant change. It’s almost the time it takes for 3 piglin trades, killing a few blazes, and, if you’re fast enough building a Nether portal.
